01 — The Problem
“Most people overpay for Medicare simply because no one explained their options.”

02 — The Four Parts
Understanding what each part actually does.
Medicare is built from four lettered parts. Each one covers something different — and knowing where the seams are is how you avoid paying twice.
A
Part A
Hospital Insurance
Covers inpatient hospital stays, skilled nursing facility care, hospice and some home health services. Most people pay no premium for Part A because they paid in through payroll taxes while working.
— Inpatient hospital care
— Skilled nursing facilities
— Hospice & home health
B
Part B
Medical Insurance
Covers doctor visits, outpatient procedures, lab work, durable medical equipment and preventive screenings. Part B carries a standard monthly premium that can vary with your income.
— Doctor & specialist visits
— Preventive screenings
— Medical equipment
C
Part C
Medicare Advantage
An all-in-one alternative offered by private insurers approved by Medicare. Plans bundle Parts A and B and frequently add drug, dental, vision and hearing benefits within a defined network.
— Bundled A + B coverage
— Extra dental, vision, hearing
— Annual out-of-pocket cap
D
Part D
Prescription Drug Coverage
Stand-alone drug plans that help pay for the medications you take at home. Each plan publishes its own formulary, so the right choice depends entirely on your current prescriptions.
— Brand & generic medications
— Plan-specific formularies
— Avoids late-enrollment penalty
03 — The Process
Three steps. No cost. No pressure.

Review Matched Plans
A licensed advisor lays every qualifying plan side by side — premiums, networks, drug tiers and caps — and explains the trade-offs in plain English.
Unbiased across all carriers.
03
Enroll With Guidance
When you are ready, we handle the enrollment paperwork with you and stay on as your point of contact for questions all year long.
Our advisors are paid the same regardless of which plan you choose. That means the recommendation you get is the one that fits your life — not the one with the best commission.
You never pay CoverBenefits a dollar — our service is funded by the carriers, not by you.

07 — From Our Members
In their own words.
“
I had four letters on my kitchen table and no idea what any of them meant. An hour later I understood my options better than I had in six years.
Margaret H., Ohio
“
They found a plan that kept both of my specialists and cut what I was paying for prescriptions nearly in half. No pressure at any point.
Raymond T., Arizona
“
What surprised me most was that they called back in the spring just to check that everything was working. Nobody does that anymore.
Dolores K., North Carolina
08 — Questions
Answers, without the fine print.
No. Our guidance is completely free to you. We are compensated by the insurance carriers when someone enrolls, and that compensation is standardized — it does not change based on which plan you pick.
Open Enrollment runs October 15 through December 7 each year, with changes taking effect January 1. You may also qualify for an Initial Enrollment Period around your 65th birthday or a Special Enrollment Period after a qualifying life event such as a move or loss of employer coverage.
In most cases, yes. Original Medicare works with any provider that accepts Medicare. With Medicare Advantage it depends on the plan's network, so we check each of your physicians against every plan before recommending anything.
It is usually wise. If you go without creditable drug coverage for 63 days or more after becoming eligible, a late-enrollment penalty is added to your premium permanently. Many low-cost plans exist precisely for people with minimal prescriptions.
Medigap supplements Original Medicare by covering deductibles and coinsurance you would otherwise pay yourself. Medicare Advantage replaces the way you receive Parts A and B through a private plan. You cannot hold both at the same time, which is why the choice matters.
Never. Plenty of people review their options with us, decide their existing plan is still the best fit, and stay exactly where they are. That is a perfectly good outcome.
Let's find your right coverage.
One conversation with a licensed advisor is often all it takes to know whether you are in the right plan for next year.
